Financial Assistance
Veritas Academy desires to make enrollment financially accessible to all families who desire our classical, Christian, and covenantal model of education for their children. Factors such as income, expenses, savings, and the number of applying children impact how much assistance you may qualify for. Generally speaking (depending on the above factors), families with an annual income less than $60K with one child applying to Veritas, and families with an annual income greater than $60K and but less than $125K with multiple children applying to Veritas, can potentially qualify for financial assistance.
To apply for financial assistance, you must complete aFACTS application online (a third-party agency that assesses a family's qualifications for assistance). We strongly recommend that you apply for financial assistance and pay the FACTS application fee at the same time you apply for admission. For more information on financial assistance at Veritas, please visit our financial aid page.
-
STEP 3: INTERVIEW AS A FAMILY
Each parent and student will participate in an interview with the Headmaster once all admission documents have been received. Admissions testing for PreK and Kindergarten will take place concurrent with the family interview. Admissions testing for students 1st grade and above will be scheduled after the family interview has taken place.
-
STEP 4: ADMISSIONS TESTING
Veritas admissions tests are comprised of basic reading and math skills as well as other subject areas pertinent to a child’s grade level. The tests help teachers determine the best placement for a student.
Admission Testing for PreK and Kindergarten students takes place concurrent with the family interview. All required admission documents must be sumbitted prior to scheduling family interviews and admission testing.
Admission Testing for 1st - 6th grade students is scheduled on an individual basis (based on teacher availability) after the family interview has been completed. Typically, testing will take place on Tuesdays - Thursdays at 12:30pm.
Admission Testing for 7th-12th grade students will take place (1-2 days) following the admission interview. We administer the ERB standardized test.
- Once the family interview and admission test(s) are complete, Veritas will contact parents with the decision regarding acceptance. If accepted, welcome! Your family will receive a letter of acceptance and an enrollment contract. The school will also notify parents with respect to decisions regarding any requests for financial assistance.
Veritas Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
