I once heard someone describe godly parenting as simply “my life for yours.”  I thought of this comment this week when I read the blogpost Lord, Make Me a Generous Father.  Michael Kelley exhorts us to be generous to our children with our time, attention, and finances.  Using Luke 11:11-13 he explains that we teach our children much about God’s kindness and generosity by our own example of generosity.  Enjoy and give of yourself and all you have to your children.
