The Dangers of Common Core

Last week I referred you to the website ClassicalDifference.com. The website offers a treasure trove of outstanding resources about the difference classical Christian education makes in the lives of our students. In the most recent issue of the Classical Difference magazine there is an excellent article about the far reaching dangers of Common Core. Last week David Goodwin, President of the ACCS, did an interview based on the Common Core article. The interview was conducted by Eric Metaxas, author of Bonhoeffer and Breakpoint radio commentator. Even if our children are not directly taking courses using Common Core curriculum, the standards are influencing everything from standardized testing to college admissions.
