I am always looking for articles that clearly and concisely explain classical education. At the Classical Academic Press website (the publisher of our Latin curriculum) there are many fine essays that will reward the reader who wants to learn more about the education we provide at Veritas. Here are links to one short article and to one longer article that attempt to define and explain classical education. The short article looks at the variety of ways “classical education” gets defined and helps us focus on the true meaning. The longer article provides an excellent history of classical education and then fleshes out what it looks like as an educational model. Veritas will be a better school if lots of parents read these two articles -no kidding -really, it will be!
